Senior Clinician Physiotherapy: Lynn Carter

  • Clinical supervisor to Melbourne, La Trobe and Sturt Universities
  • Guest lecturer to Melbourne University undergraduate and post graduate Physiotherapy Program
  • Workshops and presentations at Conferences in New Zealand and Hong Kong.
  • Presented paper at National Pediatric Physiotherapy Conference, Sydney (2002)
  • Contributed to the development of content (Cerebral Palsy) for a multimedia training package “Students with Physical Impairment” being developed by Education Queensland
  • By invitation, consulted to a program and provided a week long training seminar for professionals, a weekend seminar for parents and evening lectures for interested professionals and parents in Calgary Canada (2000)
  • Provides consultation and training workshops to a variety of schools and other community groups.
  • Member of the organising committee for the Australian National Physiotherapy Pediatric Conference (2001)
  • Presented at the Australian National Physiotherapy Pediatric Conference (1999)
  • Guest lecturer on Conductive Education to undergraduate students at Latrobe University
  • Clinical supervisor to physiotherapy students from Latrobe and Melbourne University
  • A key professional involved with the services applying principles of conductive education at Essex Heights Primary School (an innovative program for students with severe physical and multiple disabilities at a mainstream school)
  • Senior clinician (Physiotherapy), Spastic Society of Victoria (1994 – 1998)
