Cycling for Cerebral Palsy: New Zealand Cycling Tour 2011
Adolf Brelage was motivated to organise the team cycle by his son, Alain who is 11 years old and sufffers from mild cerebral palsy. Alain has a passion for cycling and his dad can see him joining him on similar adventures when Alain's a little bit older.
The 'awe_suhm' (Kiwi for 'we are awesome') Team Brelage have completed a truly remarkable challenge by cycling 905.77k in 35:24:52 at an average speed of 25:46 kph, and climbing a total of 8104m. CPEC would like the thank the team for their amazing effort and generous fundraising for us.
