Felicity Lovatt
Speech Pathologist
Felicity has worked as a Speech Pathologist with people with communication support needs for almost 25 years in paediatric, adult and school settings. Most of this experience has been in Tasmania and Felicity is passionate about ensuring Tasmanians have access to all the opportunities they need to be autonomous communicators for life and belong to a community who support communication access. Felicity is committed to the provision of whole language systems and has experience using light and high tech AAC and a range of access methods for emerging, context dependent and autonomous communicators. Felicity has been a certified PODD and Key Word Sign presenter for 10 years.
Felicity has an interest and role in policy and projects for communication access in her local community and at a state level. She was part of a team to develop and implement a statewide AAC in Schools policy.
