Olivia
Speech Pathologist
Olivia is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist who graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Speech Pathology. Before joining CPEC, she worked in private practice supporting individuals with complex communication needs and swallowing difficulties both at home and in the community. Through this work, Olivia fostered her specific interest in AAC and working with individuals with physical disabilities.
Olivia enjoys working collaboratively in the transdisciplinary team at CPEC. She has a keen interest in working with adolescents and adults to self-advocate, as well as build and maintain their independence. Her calm, collected and can-do attitude makes those she works with feel heard and at ease.
Olivia is PROMPT trained and has completed the Introduction to PODD workshop. Olivia is also trained in the administration of the ROCC (Roadmap of Communicative Competence) Assessment Tool.
Away from CPEC, Olivia spends a lot of her time cooking, weight-lifting and playing with her greyhound, Maggie.
