Aquatic Therapy in Melbourne
Aquatic therapy (sometimes called hydrotherapy) uses a warm, supportive water environment to help build strength, movement control and confidence. The warm water helps relax tight or overactive muscles, while the weightless environment allows you to focus on controlling your movement without managing the full weight of your arms and legs. Where possible, CPEC's aquatic therapists are also your land-based physiotherapists, so both forms of therapy work together to support your goals.
Where Aquatic Therapy Sessions Take Place
Aquatic physiotherapy is currently provided at Monash Aquatic and Recreation Centre and AquaHub Croydon.
