Kat

Kat is our resident dancer and published OT, having completed a thesis on the “Hartley Knows Handwriting” assessment in 2021 - published by Occupational Therapy Australia. Kat graduated from Monash University before starting work at CPEC in 2019. Kat is highly motivated by families and enjoys building connections and following them along their journey from early intervention into school and beyond. Kat is inspired by her team in the transdisciplinary dynamic and loves learning with other disciplines. Kat has training in Advanced Home Modifications, Advanced Bimanual Therapy and the Hartley Knows Handwriting program.

Kat prides herself on being organised and punctual. She is passionate about helping students learn how to be independent, in particular, how they can use technology to control and engage in the world around them. Both at work and outside of work, Kat enjoys choreographing routines to the High School Musical soundtrack, exercising and cooking with her family.
